Western Union and Kroger Sign Money Transfer/ Money Order Agreement

           Deal Extends Current Contract, Adds nearly 500 Locations
                       in Texas, California and Indiana

    DENVER, Feb. 5 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- First Data Corp. (NYSE: FDC)
subsidiary Western Union Financial Services, Inc. and its affiliate,
Integrated Payment Systems, today announced that they have renewed an
agreement to provide Western Union Money Transfer and Money Order services to
The Kroger Co. (NYSE: KR).
    The multi-year deal extends Western Union's existing agreement and
includes the addition of nearly 500 Kroger locations, in Texas, California and
Indiana, to the network of Western Union agents offering money transfer
services.  In addition, approximately 1,000 Kroger-owned locations will begin
offering Western Union Money Orders, expanding the suite of Western Union
services they currently provide to their customers.
