Sixteen Other Exhibitors Will Be Promoting Bio-Key at This Event
WALL, N.J., Feb. 5 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- BIO-key International Inc.
(OTC Bulletin Board: BKYI), a leader in finger-based biometric
identification and wireless public safety solutions, announced today that
the company is showcasing its fingerprint biometric products at the 2007
RSA Conference. This prestigious information security event is being held
at the Moscone Conference Center on Feb 5th - 8th in San Francisco, CA.
BIO-key(R) will demonstrate its state-of-the-art identification solutions,
based on its patented, award winning biometric technology in booth 2343.
BIO-key is partnering with Oracle in a promotional program at the
conference and BIO-key's technology will also be shown in partner booths
where the it has been integrated into a variety of solutions including
IdentiPHI (booth# 648), Living Software (booth # 2347) and Softex (booth #
2109).
BIO-key and its partners will be demonstrating how BIO-key solutions
are deployed "from doorway to desktop" to enhance security and drive
revenue. The solutions that have been successfully deployed with the
BIO-key authentication software that will be shown include a physical
access solution (with partner NextGenID), network log on and Single Sign On
(SSO) applications (with partners IdentiPHI and Softex), secure email
applications (with partner Living Software) and a large scale
identification application developed by BIO-key. Each of these solutions
leverages BIO-key's reader independence capability that allows the user to
select the appropriate fingerprint reader from any of the major reader
manufacturers.
BIO-key will feature WEB-key(R) 3.0, a cost effective, easy to deploy,
fingerprint based strong authentication system. This unique solution allows
authorized users to positively identify themselves to gain access into any
application with the simple scan of their finger. When used in conjunction
with a token, BIO-key's fingerprint authentication replaces less secure
usernames, passwords or PINs. This capability is a significant improvement
in both convenience and security and provides companies with a cost
effective solution to thwart phishing attacks and comply with regulations
such as FIPS 201 credentialing, FFIEC compliance, HIPAA, Sarbanes Oxley,
Visa PCI, and the Electronic Signatures Act.
"The convenience BIO-key's technology provides the user coupled with
the increased security and lower cost it offers the enterprise make it the
clear choice to deploy," stated Mike DePasquale, CEO and President of
BIO-key. "With the launch of our True User ID Rapid Deployment Kit, we have
removed the hurdles associated with deploying fingerprint biometrics into
any application. BIO-key continues to set the standard in providing

solutions."
