LONDON, Feb. 6 /PRNewswire/ -- Five, the UK's fastest growing terrestrial
television channel, today announced that Jane Lighting is appointed as its new
Chief Executive.
Jane Lighting is currently Chief Executive of Flextech, the pay TV
business whose portfolio includes the Bravo and LivingTV channels. Jane
joined Flextech in 1999 as Chief Operating Officer, Content, following the
acquisition of Minotaur International, the TV business she founded in 1991.
In all, Jane has over twenty years experience in the Television industry.
Jane Lighting is joining at a time of great success for the channel, which
last year saw an increase in audience share from 5.9% to 6.5% and an increase
in share of revenues from 6.4% to 7.5%.
Jane Lighting will join Five in early April.
