Proofpoint's secure messaging solution automatically and dynamically
applies encryption or decryption based on an organization's policies, right
at the gateway. As a result, end users don't need to take any special
actions to take advantage of encryption features and compliance and content
security policies are consistently and accurately applied on an as-needed
basis. Proofpoint's fully customizable encryption policies and accurate
detection of confidential, private and regulated content ensure automatic
enforcement of encryption policies and eliminate user error.
Proofpoint Regulatory Compliance protects private data and helps
organizations comply with a wide variety of data protection and privacy
regulations including HIPAA and GLBA. Proofpoint Digital Asset Security
keeps valuable assets and confidential information from leaking outside the
organization via email. Messages detected by these modules can be
automatically encrypted using the Proofpoint Secure Messaging module --
which is powered by Voltage IBE(TM) technology from Voltage Security -- or
through integration with other popular third-party encryption solutions.
