Revolutionary Product to Begin Shipping in the Second Quarter
MORRISVILLE, N.C., Feb. 7 /PRNewswire/ -- LED Lighting Fixtures Inc.
(LLF) today announced its first product, a six-inch down light for
residential and commercial markets. LED technology generates light in a new
way and LLF's product is the first LED recessed down light to deliver
approximately 650 lumens from a fixture at 10-12 watts (approximately 60
lumens per watt). The product also features excellent color rendering, (CRI
of 92), a unique installation mechanism that allows it to be used in a
standard six-inch recessed housing and it is dimmable. The down light will
be available in two color temperatures, 2700K and 3500K, for warm and cool
white applications. LLF will begin shipping these products in the second
quarter of 2007.
LLF will demonstrate its products at the NAHB 2007 International
Builders' Show in Orlando, Florida from February 7-10, 2007 in booth
S10313. At this show, visitors will experience a full-scale comparison of
LLF down lights to incandescent and compact fluorescent products.

Although the LLF fixture platform can accommodate any competitive
product, LLF chose the new XLamp XR-E power LEDs from Cree, Inc. (Nasdaq:
CREE) for its initial product release. "Cree's performance is unmatched
with the new XR-E design and recent advances in its power package
technology," stated Gerry Negley, LLF's Chief Technology Officer.
LEDs are one of the world's most energy efficient light sources and
LLF's product is targeted to use approximately 17% and 50% of the energy
consumption of incandescent and compact fluorescent (CFL) lamps,
respectively. LLF's product lasts more than 20 times longer than
incandescent and 5 times longer than CFL bulbs, which lowers maintenance
costs. These recessed down lights are also virtually unbreakable, light
weight and environmentally safe.
