CarrierCom is participating at the world's largest wireless communications
conference and exhibition in Barcelona from February 11th - 14th. The
European communications specialist for solutions for fixed and mobile
network operators is presenting the new version of its DataXtender. This
innovative analysis tool delivers near real-time reports for performance,
usage, and quality of the networks and services, and it is technology
agnostic across multiple vendor platforms. The DataXtender is successfully
deployed at leading European mobile network operators. Kapsch will be
demonstrating DataXtender at the Mobile World Congress in the
Telemanagement Forum Members Pavilion for OSS/BSS solutions in Hall 2,
Level 0, stand number 2B39.

    DataXtender is a powerful business intelligence tool, which compiles
and processes data from different systems at the network operator in near
real-time. The required reports for the different users are available,
without the usual delays normally experienced from systems such as data
warehouse or billing. The new version includes additional protocol analysis
tools, a Dashboard feature and a Threshold & Notification module. This will
be demonstrated for the first time in Barcelona. With the Dashboard Viewer,
the reports selected by the users are periodically updated and displayed
automatically directly on the user's desktop. By continuously refreshing
the data, customer service, product management, or network planning have an
up-to-date overview of customers, services and the network. The Threshold &
Notfication module works together with the Dashboard and triggers alarm
notifications when thresholds are exceeded.

error statistics. Product Management can accurately analyze profitability,
and ROI for a newly launched service. One of the main benefits of
