Search Begins for Replacement
MINNEAPOLIS, Feb. 8 /PRNewswire/ -- G&K Services, Inc. (Nasdaq: GKSRA), a
leading supplier of uniforms and related textile services, today announced
that Joseph Rotunda, executive vice president and chief operating officer, has
resigned his position with the company effective February 11, 2000. Rotunda
has accepted a new position, returning to his roots in the retail industry.
G&K has initiated a search for a new COO. In the interim, Thomas Moberly,
chief executive officer, will assume the majority of Rotunda's
responsibilities with assistance from other senior members of operations.
"Joe has been a dedicated and driven leader at G&K. He learned our
business very quickly and had certainly earned the respect of other members of
senior management. We are sorry to see Joe leave, but wish him the best of
luck in his new position," said Moberly.
