today announced a change and reorganization of its senior management.
Dr. Barry D. Quart, formerly Senior Vice President, Head of Drug
Development, has been appointed President, Research and Development, and
R. Kent Snyder, formerly Senior Vice President, Head of Commercial Affairs,
has been appointed President, Global Commercial Operations.
Martin Mattingly, formerly Senior Director of Global Marketing Planning,
has been promoted to the position of Vice President, Global Marketing
Planning. Dr. Patrick O'Connor, formerly Senior Director of Oncology
Research, has been promoted to the position of Vice President, Head of
Oncology Research. Dr. Alex Polinsky, formerly chief scientific officer of
the Alanex Research Division, has been promoted to the position of Vice
President, Head of the Alanex Research Division. Dr. Steve Worland, formerly
Senior Director of Antiviral Research, has been promoted to the position of
Vice President, Head of Antiviral Research.
