Black History Month Launch of Paul Freeman's Global Maestro Radio Series Led by the WFMT Radio Network (www.globalmaestro.com)

The first major national and international classical music radio series led by
                    an African American symphony conductor

    NEW YORK and CHICAGO, Feb. 10 /PRNewswire/ -- The WFMT Radio Network
announces the launch of the Global Maestro radio series, the first major
national and international classical music radio series led by an African
American symphony conductor. Carried on a record 127 radio stations across the
US, the series of thirteen two-hour programs features the recordings of
Maestro Paul Freeman, Music Director and Chief conductor of the Czech National
Symphony Orchestra in Prague and the Chicago Sinfonietta.

hidden artistic treasures," said Steve Robinson, Vice President of programming
for the WFMT Radio Network in Chicago. Robinson continues, "I am astounded by

    Paul Freeman has established himself as one of the most recorded
conductors of his generation with over 200 CDs to his credit. He was recently
proclaimed by Fanfare Magazine as "one of the finest conductors our nation has
produced." Maestro Freeman is the founder of the Chicago Sinfonietta, which
has as its mission "musical excellence through diversity." Maestro Freeman
notes, "The Sinfonietta exemplifies diversity at all levels of the
organization: its board of directors, staff, musicians, and audiences."
    The Global Maestro Radio series showcases Paul Freeman's broad range of
repertoire from the world's greatest orchestras including: the Royal
Philharmonic, the English Chamber Orchestra, the St. Petersburg Symphony, the
Victoria Symphony, the Moscow State Symphony, the Mexico National Symphony,
London Symphony Orchestra, as well as the Chicago Sinfonietta and the Czech
National Symphony Orchestra. Freeman observes, "I have been blessed to conduct
