TKT to Report Fourth Quarter and Year-End 2004 Financial Results on February 23, 2005

    CAMBRIDGE, Mass., Feb. 10 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Transkaryotic
Therapies, Inc. (Nasdaq: TKTX) will announce its fourth quarter and year-end
2004 financial results on February 23, 2005 before the open of U.S. financial
markets. In connection with this announcement, TKT will host a conference call
and live audio webcast on February 23, 2005 at 10:00 a.m. Eastern Time to
discuss its fourth quarter and full year 2004 financial results and financial
outlook for 2005.
