Parlux Fragrances, Inc. Board Appointment

    FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla., Feb. 11 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Parlux
Fragrances, Inc. (Nasdaq: PARL) announced today that Isaac Lekach has been
nominated to its Board of Directors.  Isaac Lekach was instrumental in
identifying the potential of the PARIS HILTON fragrance and watch licenses.
He is also involved as a liaison in connection with our GUESS? and OCEAN
PACIFIC fragrance licenses.  He has been employed by the company in a variety
of creative, product development and promotional roles for over four years.
He currently resides in California, has been involved in the production of
films, and is also a songwriter/musician.  He is the son of Ilia Lekach,
Parlux's Chairman and Chief Executive Officer.
    Concurrently, Frederick Purches, Vice Chairman and founder of Parlux in
1984, resigned from the Board to ensure that it consists of a majority of
independent directors.  Mr. Purches will continue to serve in his present
capacity as a consultant.
