("SSC") is pleased to announce today that it has expanded its management team
through the addition of Ellen Herbst as Vice President of Sales and Marketing.
Ellen Herbst has had extensive involvement with growing businesses in the
security, processing and imaging systems markets. Prior to joining SSC, Ms.
Herbst was Vice President of Sales, Marketing and Strategic Development for
Giesecke & Devrient America -- a leading supplier of banknotes, security
documents and currency automation systems. Ms. Herbst has also held various
key management positions at E.I. DuPont De Nemours and Company where she
served as Business Manager for their Digital Systems and Equipment Service
Divisions. In addition to these qualifications Ellen has extensive experience
in financial and strategic planning and integration of acquisitions. She
received her B.S., in Economics and Accounting in 1979 from The University of
Delaware and her M.B.A., in 1995 from the Wharton School of Business,
University of Pennsylvania
