which protects the underlying technology used in the Company's Bestnetcall.com

The United States Patent & Trademark Office granted a patent to Softalk
Inc. for technology relating to the use of the Internet to establish long
distance voice communications. By contractual agreement with Softalk, BestNet
Communications holds the exclusive worldwide rights to sell and market
Softalk's Internet related telephone products for commercial applications.
