    FLEET, Hampshire, England, Feb. 14 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ --
SignalSoft(R) Corporation (Nasdaq: SGSF), the developer of the Wireless

Visitors will have a chance to see SignalSoft's entire Wireless Location
Services software suite, including its location gateway, Location Manager(TM);
its middleware product, Location Studio(TM); as well as a range of services
showcased in the booth that simulates a city block. Here, guests will be able
to access a number of integrated location services, including searching for,
selecting, previewing, booking and getting turn-by-turn directions to a
cinema, a cafe and a restaurant, and searching for nearby friends through
SignalSoft's FriendFinder(R) solution.
FriendFinder brings together communities of people who want to find and
communicate with each other. Accessible through SMS, WAP, the Web and also
available through GPRS, FriendFinder automatically collects location
information via the mobile network, and lets subscribers view friends'
locations and communicate with them individually or in groups. Because the
service is 100 percent permission based, only subscribers who have voluntarily
joined the service can find and be found by friends that they have selected
and approved themselves.
The company will also be showing its SafetyFirst(TM) solution that
provides mobile location information for emergency assistance to subscribers
-- known as E911 in North America and E112 in Europe. SafetyFirst is already
in operation with a number of mobile operators in the United States, and meets
the requirements for emergency services currently being developed by the
European Commission.
In addition, SignalSoft's local.info(TM) Alliance Multimedia Demonstration
can be seen at the Compaq booth (Booth B8, Hall 1), and SignalSoft's Corporate
Overview Multimedia Demonstration can be viewed with Invisix, a Motorola and
Cisco strategic alliance, at the Motorola booth (Booth A8, Hall 1).
The demonstrations will show the rich variety of consumer information
services and content supported by SignalSoft's location services solutions,
developed to add new revenue streams for mobile operators.
David Hose, president and CEO of SignalSoft said, "We look forward to 3GSM
Congress because it is the most important trade show in the GSM industry.
This year SignalSoft and our local.info Alliance partners will show the world
some exciting new location-based solutions. SignalSoft continues to lead the
location-based industry with operator customers serving over 100 million
subscribers throughout the world."
David Hose will be chairing "The Mobile Lifestyle" Session at 14.35 on
Thursday, February 21 at the Congress.
