Alaska Air Group to Webcast Presentation at Smith Barney Citigroup Small & Mid-Cap Conference

    SEATTLE, Feb. 14 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Alaska Air Group, Inc.
(NYSE: ALK), the parent company of Alaska Airlines, Inc. and Horizon Air
Industries, Inc., today announced that it will webcast a presentation given by
Bill Ayer, Alaska's chairman and chief executive officer, at the Smith Barney
Citigroup Small & Mid-Cap Conference on Wednesday, Feb. 16, 2005, in
Las Vegas, Nev.
    The webcast will be presented live on Wednesday, Feb. 16, 2005, at
2:25 p.m. Pacific time. To participate in the listen-only mode webcast,
listeners should access the "Investor Information" section of
http://www.alaskaair.com several minutes prior to the scheduled start time to allow
sufficient time to register.
