HOUSTON, Feb 15 /PRNewswire/ -- R&B Falcon Corporation (NYSE: FLC)
announced the election of R. A. (Rich) Pattarozzi to the Company's Board of
Directors effective immediately. Mr. Pattarozzi recently retired from Shell
Offshore Inc. after a distinguished career with various Shell Oil Company
affiliates beginning in 1966. Mr. Pattarozzi served as President and CEO of
Shell Deepwater Development Inc. and President and CEO of Shell Deepwater
Production Inc. and was Vice President of Shell Offshore Inc. where he had
responsibility for Shell Deepwater Development Inc. and Shell Deepwater
Production Inc. He was responsible for the exploration, development and
production for Shell's Gulf of Mexico deepwater properties and the company's
shelf exploration and production business.
Mr. Pattarozzi lives in Metairie, LA. where he is active in several
community and civic organizations in the Greater New Orleans area, including
the United Way and the New Orleans Business Council. Also, he is a member of
the Minerals Management Service, Outer Continental Shelf (OCS) Policy
Committee and the National Ocean Industries Association (NOIA) Board.
