The company will file its 10K and announce earnings consistent with its
past reporting practice in late March 2001. The results reported today are
subject to final audit by Ernst & Young, the company's auditors.
IC&C announced earlier in 2000 that it had created a 5-point strategic
action plan to obtain EBITDA neutrality by December 2000.
The 5-point plan consisted of the following:
-- Grow Organic Revenue by adding new customers and selling more products.
-- Reduce Operating Expense by improving productivity.
-- Retain Customers by improving customer service.
-- Develop Market Driven Products through our Web Solutions Division.
-- Upgrade Network by improving network reliability and setting standard.
Douglas Hanson, Chairman & CEO of IC&C noted that "It is always gratifying
to meet our stated goals. Our employees have worked hard to meet our
objectives, and in some cases, have exceeded our own expectations." Hanson
added "We still have major challenges ahead, but we are extremely pleased to
have met this milestone inroute to profitability. We have also substantially
increased our investment in customer service and technical support, and have
finally completed our billing conversion to CSG."
As part of the plan to expand product lines, the company recently
announced a joint venture with IncTools; a Denver based Technology Company
that has developed a suite of products that will compete with Microsoft
Exchange and Lotus Notes at a fraction of the cost. The product which is
hosted by IC&C can be delivered to any desk-top giving a small and mid-size
business the same capability of larger companies that are required to purchase
and host the competitive product at their office on their server.
Hanson further commented "IncTools gives IC&C a product differentiation in
the market place and allows us to provide a more comprehensive product
offering to our customer base nationwide."
