Take the 'Media Paintball-Biathlon Challenge' Near Soldier Hollow

MIDWAY, Utah, Feb. 15 /PRNewswire/ -- News organizations with personnel in
Utah for the Olympics are invited to send their crews to the Homestead Resort
in Midway, Utah (just three miles from the Soldier Hollow venue) for this
one-of-a-kind feature story idea.
They've mastered the art of meeting deadlines, but are they up to the
physical challenge of the biathlon? Challenge your crew's Olympics-weary
bodies on a double-loop biathlon course created exclusively for members of the
Fourth Estate. (Equipment will be provided, including Paintball rifles for
the target shooting.)
The Homestead will post individual results in both men's and women's
categories. The Homestead's Recreation Director estimates that it should take
between 10 and 15 minutes to complete the course. Currently, a Newsweek
correspondent holds the top position, completing the course in 5 minutes. The
course consists of two 150-meter loops and four targets on each loop.
This is a great chance to craft a feature story about this exciting sport
while having fun and getting some exercise. Competition offered daily through
Feb. 22. Just stop by any time between noon and 3 p.m. or call to reserve a
time.
(Directions: Take U.S. Highway 40 East to first traffic light (14 miles
from I-80 East and approximately 10 miles from Park City). Turn right and
follow signs to the Homestead Resort, approximately 5 miles.
