Facility to Support Growing Popularity of Delco Remy(R) Starters,

ANDERSON, Ind., Feb. 15 /PRNewswire/ -- Remy International, Inc., today
announced plans to establish an Asia Regional customer service and technical
center to support the company's rapid growth in the Asia-Pacific region. The
new facility will be located in Daegu, South Korea.
Remy and Delco Remy are the leading brand choices of manufacturers and
companies associated with the global automotive, small-engine, commercial
truck, industrial, agricultural, construction, marine and hybrid systems
markets.

Scheduled to open in mid-2005, the new facility will include a broad range
of on-site engineering, purchasing, supplier development and product testing
operations. Daegu was chosen for the new facility because of the city's
