Enhancements to nCircle's Vulnerability Management System provide
    enterprises with more comprehensive tools to measure, manage and reduce

release of version 6.4 of the nCircle IP360 Vulnerability Management System.
IP360 is the next generation of vulnerability management solutions, providing
enterprises with the ability to effectively measure, manage and reduce network
security risk.
    IP360 continuously profiles all IP-based network devices to proactively
discover operating systems, services, applications, vulnerabilities and other
end-point intelligence to help enterprises find and eliminate vulnerabilities

policies. The enhanced capabilities of IP360 version 6.4 include improved user
management to meet the needs of globally distributed IT teams, new data

    Key enhancements to the nCircle IP360 Vulnerability Management System
v6.4 include:

    Enhanced Reporting for IDS nTellect

    Users can now leverage the reporting and analytical capabilities of
nCircle's IP360 Vulnerability Management System with nCircle's IDS nTellect
product. IDS nTellect dramatically reduces false positives by correlating
Cisco IDS/IPS alerts with IP360's rich host information to identify real
threats, reducing the occurrence of false alerts. This event reduction
capability is highlighted in new metrics and reports that graphically
illustrate and measure the false-alarm reduction capabilities of IDS nTellect.

    Improved Administrative Features

    IP360 v6.4 includes several new features designed to extend IP360's best-
in-class management functionality. Users can now further segregate
administrative functions, ensuring that enterprises can easily manage and
administrate their globally distributed networks. IP360 v6.4 also includes
additional methods for vulnerability signature and software updates, enabling
ease of management for remote or air-gapped networks, as well as the ability
to configure communication ports on appliances to eliminate the need for
firewall rule changes.

    Data Export Enhancements

    IP360 v6.4 also includes expanded data export formats for more thorough
integration with existing security products such as patch management, security
information/event management (SIM/SEM) systems, ticketing systems, and
external databases. Version 6.4 also provides customers with additional
methods to export continuously updated intelligence data about their global
network for use in compliance reporting databases and other systems. IP360
v6.4 gathers highly detailed actionable intelligence which can be leveraged
