PRSA-Detroit & IABC/Detroit Joint Luncheon to Offer Glimpse Behind the Scenes of Super Bowl XL PR Efforts

    DETROIT, Feb. 17 /PRNewswire/ -- Did Detroit score a touchdown with Super
Bowl XL?
    Detroit chapters of the International Association of Business
Communicators and the Public Relations Society of America will find out when
they co-host a luncheon meeting Feb. 28 featuring Super Bowl XL Host Committee
leaders.
    Super Bowl XL Host Committee's Susan Sherer, executive director, and Ken
Kettenbeil, vice president of communications, will provide a behind-the-scenes
look at the Super Bowl XL public relations efforts.
    Sherer and her team are the official liaisons between the National
Football League and Detroit's hospitality, government and corporate
stakeholders.  Kettenbeil manages the host committee's publications, day-to-
day media contacts, speakers bureau, Web site, local host campaign and a
variety of other communications and community-related initiatives.
    Super Bowl XL was held on Feb. 5 in Detroit.
    The meeting is scheduled for 11:45 a.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 28, at the
Southfield Westin at 1500 Town Center near Evergreen and 10 Mile roads.
Tickets are $30 for members and $40 for non-members.  Payment can be made via
