(Nasdaq: ZRAN) announced that its COACH digital camera processor is powering
Samsung's new Digimax 430 and 370 user-friendly cameras on displayed last week
at the Photo Marketing Association tradeshow in Las Vegas.
The affordable new Digimax 430 and 370 are the fourth generation of
Samsung digital cameras to be powered by Zoran's COACH processor. Both new
models are equipped with Samsung's 3x optical zoom lens enhanced by the
COACH's smooth high quality digital zoom control.
These cameras offer excellent image quality, easy operation, and
innovative features, including 12x zoom and VGA audio video movie clip
capture. They also support multiple memory card slots including SD, MMC and
Memory Stick Duo.
The 4-megapixel Digimax 430 and 3-megapixel Digimax 370 support the new
Pictbridge standard for connecting cameras directly to printers, allowing
users to print directly from the digital camera without the need for a
personal computer. There is also a built in USB connection for easy
downloading of image and video clip files.
