VIENNA, Va., Feb. 19 /PRNewswire/ -- GRC International (NYSE: GRH) today
announced it is a member of the I.T.S. Corp. team that has been awarded a role
on the Applications 'N Support for Widely Diverse Enduser Requirements
(ANSWER) contract. The type of work performed under the contract for federal,
state and local agencies will include a wide variety of information system
support tasks. In addition to the ITS team, the General Services
Administration (GSA) announced nine other teams that will support the
contract, which has a $25 billion ceiling over ten years.
While the scope of the contract calls for a broad diversity of technical
services, GRCI will primarily be providing high-end technical services
including information system requirements analysis, design research, system
analysis and definition, system development and software maintenance, and
facilities planning. Depending on the scope of emerging business
opportunities under ANSWER, GRCI could also provide production support, system
software support, database generation, data and/or media management and
orientation and training under the contract.
