                             Network File Access

CANNES, France, Feb. 19 /PRNewswire/ -- Onset Technology today announced
two new U.K. METAmessage for Wireless resellers and a major U.K. customer,
demonstrating its commitment to providing METAmessage services internationally
to RIM BlackBerry(TM) handheld users. By adding METAmessage to its offerings,
MoboTel Ltd. and Advance Visual Communications PLC, both BT Cellnet resellers,
will give BlackBerry handheld users the ability to easily read and print email
attachments and Web pages on their devices. Onset, a RIM Select Alliance
Member, made the announcement at the 3GSM World Congress in Cannes.
"The need for users to be able to read attachments and print from mobile
devices is obvious. The METAmessage solution is hassle free, reliable and
effective, it simply does what it says on the box, customers love it!" said
Richard Smith, Managing Director of MoboTel.
"BlackBerry customers highly value the personal and organizational
productivity benefits derived from our corporate wireless email solution,"
said Mark Guibert, Vice President, Brand Management at Research In Motion.
"Onset's technology extends these productivity benefits for both large and
small organizations by enabling remote file and email attachment handling."
Onset launched its U.K. METAmessage ASP service, METAmessage.co.uk, and
established the first U.K. resellers of its enterprise software to be ready
for the availability of the BlackBerry solution in the U.K. Furthermore, Onset
is committed to providing METAmessage functionality wherever the BlackBerry
solution is sold. "We believe METAmessage provides important benefits for
BlackBerry handheld users," said Gadi Mazor, Onset's president and CEO. "As
RIM rolls out its solution in Europe, Onset will be there."
METAmessage for Wireless was recently purchased and installed at Baring
Asset Management, a major financial group in London. "METAmessage has really
delivered for us. It was very easy to install and get up-and-running, it does
exactly what we need it to do, and its return-on-investment was literally a
matter of days. We couldn't be happier," said Paul Middlebrook, Technical
Support Manager at Baring Asset Management.

Wireless Solutions Meet Variety of Needs
METAmessage for Wireless solutions make vital corporate information --
email attachments, files, Web pages, and contact information -- accessible and
manageable on wireless devices. By expanding handheld capabilities,
METAmessage decreases mobile professionals' reliance on laptops and dialup
connections, making important corporate data -- not just email -- available
anywhere, anytime.
METAmessage for Wireless solutions are comprised of the METAmessage
Conversion Server and one or more METAmessage modules. The METAmessage
Conversion Server software is the foundation of all METAmessage solutions. Its
scalable, open architecture lets enterprises leverage existing messaging
infrastructure and it provides a dependable platform for future growth. Users
can start with one METAmessage solution and easily add modules as their needs
-- and messaging technology -- evolve.
The AttachmentsPlus(TM) module lets handheld users read and print email
attachments and Web pages, view spreadsheets and slides with original format
intact, and get corporate contact information. The GetFile(TM) module lets
handheld users access files located on their corporate network for remote
sending. In conjunction with AttachmentsPlus, users can also read and print
files.
