EA Mobile's Mitch Lasky to Deliver Opening Keynote at GDC Mobile 2006

Mobile Visionary Sets the Tone for Two-Day Summit That Explores the Evolving
                           Mobile Gaming Landscape

SAN FRANCISCO, Feb. 21 /PRNewswire/ -- Mitch Lasky, senior vice president
of EA Mobile and former chairman and CEO of JAMDAT Mobile, Inc., will deliver
a keynote address at GDC Mobile 2006, held during the 20th annual Game
Developers Conference (GDC). The two-day event, set for March 20-21 at the
Fairmont Hotel in San Jose, Calif., will feature more than 40 lectures,
panels, and roundtable sessions that explore What's Next for the mobile gaming
industry.
In his keynote address entitled, "The Future of Mobile Gaming, and Its
Enemies," Lasky will elaborate on Electronic Arts' acquisition of JAMDAT and
what the union means for the mobile gaming industry. More specifically, he
will discuss the relationship between operator and publisher, emerging trends
in mobile entertainment distribution and marketing, and how all these elements
will impact the advancement of mobile game development.
"GDC Mobile is the most influential and successful event for mobile game
developers, publishers, and network operators to attend," said Jamil Moledina,
director, Game Developers Conference. "That makes this the right time and
place for Lasky to give the world a sneak peak at what's next in mobile
games."
Prior to joining JAMDAT in 2000, Lasky served as general manager of
eCompanies Wireless LLC. Before eCompanies, he held the position of executive
vice president of Worldwide Studios for Activision, Inc. Earlier in his
career, Lasky practiced law, worked at the Walt Disney Company, and started a
massively multiplayer online game company. He received a B.A. from Harvard
College and graduated magna cum laude. He also obtained a JD from the
University of Virginia School of Law.
GDC Mobile 2006 will bring together hundreds of leaders from the game
development community with representatives from mobile game developers,
publishers, traditional platform game developers, handset manufacturers,
aggregators and operators to discuss opportunities, challenges, and viability
in the space.
