    LAS VEGAS, Feb. 21 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Three of the world's most
popular entertainers -- Celine Dion, Elton John and special guest host Jerry
Seinfeld -- came together for a one-night-only sold-out performance -- the
Harrah's Entertainment Artists Rally Together (H.E.A.R.T.) Concert -- in The
Colosseum at Caesars Palace on Monday, February 20.  The Presidents Day
evening gala raised $2.1 million for Harrah's Entertainment 's (NYSE: HET)
hurricane-affected employees in New Orleans and the Gulf Coast region.

    "Following the tragic events of Hurricane's Katrina and Rita, we went to
our three artists in residence -- Celine, Elton, and Jerry Seinfeld -- and
asked if they might come together to do a performance on behalf of our 9,000
hurricane-affected employees," said Gary Loveman, Harrah's Entertainment's
chairman, chief executive officer, and president.  "They quickly responded
that they were happy to do it."
    Jerry Seinfeld opened the evening's festivities with a solid 30-minute set
of stand-up comedy.  He was followed in by Celine Dion, who gave a
heart-stopping performance.  Elton John -- the last performer of the evening
 -- had the house rocking with a selection of his greatest hits.  Celine and
Elton ended the evening by bringing the crowd to its feet with a powerful duet
of "Saturday Night's Alright."
    At the Colosseum at Caesars Palace, Celine Dion stars in "A New Day ... ,"
Elton John performs "The Red Piano," and Jerry Seinfeld presents his acclaimed
stand-up comedy.  The three international superstar performers form the core
of live entertainment at Caesars Palace, which has been responsible for
Pollstar magazine ranking the resort's Colosseum among the top two
ticket-selling venues of any size in the United States (Pollstar, Jan. 2004,
Jan. 2005).
