TD Waterhouse Institutional Services Unveils Downloadable Applet for Its Proprietary Advisor Platform

    ORLANDO, Fla., Feb. 22 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- TD Waterhouse
Institutional Services today unveiled VeoExpress, a downloadable application
(applet) that allows advisors to combine the online functionality of Veo, the
firm's proprietary Internet-based account management and trading platform,
with the power of their desktop for more intensive data processing. The
applet was unveiled to advisors at Partnership 2002, TD Waterhouse's annual
financial advisor conference, which is being held in Orlando, Florida.
    Veo, which was launched in 1999, enables the more than 2,000 financial
advisors in TD Waterhouse's network to efficiently manage their client
accounts through quick and easy access to account information, individual and
block trading and many other time-saving features -- with the click of a
mouse, from any Internet connection.
    Now advisors can also leverage VeoExpress, which provides access to
additional features such as:
     -- Individual account information all on one page;
     -- The ability to upload trade lists and management fees from portfolio
        management systems or generic file formats such as Excel;
     -- Right click functionality that gives advisors access to pertinent
        information, such as trading, quotes, the ability to list all accounts
        holding a specific security, and more;
     -- The ability to export data to compatible software programs in one
        click;
     -- The ability to store information on your desktop, eliminating the need
        to access information multiple times via the Internet;
     -- And much more.

    "We strive to make advisors' jobs easier by providing them with all the
tools necessary to manage their clients' portfolios efficiently," said
J. Thomas Bradley, Jr., President, TD Waterhouse Institutional Services. "Veo
has always provided advisors with flexibility and now, VeoExpress provides
