CSG(R) Data Mediation Grows With ALLTEL to Support New Customers and Services

announced that ALLTEL, a leading provider of wireless, local telephone,
long-distance, Internet and high-speed data services to residential and
business customers in 26 states, has expanded its use of CSG(R) Data Mediation
to support ongoing business growth initiatives.

    Under a new agreement, ALLTEL has increased the capacity of transactions
that can flow through CSG Data Mediation to manage a growing amount of
customer activity from subscribers in new geographic territories and from new
services such as Multi-Media Messaging.
    Today, ALLTEL captures and processes the transactions of its 13 million
customers using CSG Data Mediation, the essential layer between a
telecommunications service provider's network and downstream systems that
process the data required to realize revenue from customer transactions.
    In addition, ALLTEL recently began using CSG Data Mediation's correlation
functionality to support its Multi-Media Messaging service, a new step in
addition to processing transactions made on ALLTEL's wireline and wireless
networks.  By self-configuring CSG Data Mediation's Correlation Module to meet
the new service requirements, ALLTEL was able to support the launch of the new
service quickly and for minimal expense.
