NEW YORK, Feb. 23 /PRNewswire/ -- Merrill Lynch today announced that Oren
Cohen, the top-rated analyst for High Yield Media/Broadcasting & Publishing,
has joined the firm's High Yield Credit research team as senior media analyst.
Mr. Cohen will head the firm's High Yield media research team, and
coordinate High Yield media and telecommunications research efforts globally.
Since 1995, Mr. Cohen served as senior media analyst and director of the
media/telecom group at Bear Stearns. Previously, he had served as a senior
analyst at Salomon Brothers and as a commercial lending officer at Royal Bank
of Canada. A longstanding member of the Institutional Investor All-America
Fixed Income Research team, Mr. Cohen was rated number one in the High Yield
Media/Broadcasting & Publishing category and number two in the High Yield
Media/Cable & Satellite category in 1999.
