Westbridge Enables Customers to Leverage RSA ClearTrust(R) Software For
Securing XML and Web Services
RSA(R) CONFERENCE 2004, SAN FRANCISCO, Feb. 23 /PRNewswire/ -- Westbridge
Technology, a leading provider of Web Services Management (WSM) and XML
Firewall enterprise solutions, today announced a strategic technology
partnership with RSA Security. Westbridge Technology has completed
certification of the Westbridge XML Message Server (XMS) through the RSA
Secured (R) Partner Program. Westbridge Technology has fully integrated with
the RSA ClearTrust(R) web access management software, helping customers to
fully leverage identity management for Web Services.
The Westbridge XMS is the only fully integrated XML Firewall and Web
Services Management solution that secures and manages Web Services traffic.
Westbridge Technology is natively integrated with RSA ClearTrust software
enabling customers to manage Web Services as resources and enforcing
fine-grained control down to the specific Web Service operation level. Access
control policies can be centrally managed within RSA ClearTrust software.
Westbridge supports both the SAML standard as well as use of the RSA
ClearTrust software native single sign-on (SSO) functionality. Customers can
use the same SSO token used for Web-based traffic as for Web Services traffic.
For many Web Services applications where there is a Web front-end, this
enables a seamless solution without extra coding or integration required.
This saves development time and resources as well as ongoing management
effort.
