Magazine Reader Trust Award in the category of "Best Anti Virus Solution" for
SC Magazine's annual Global Awards 2005. Winners of the publication's annual
awards were announced on February 16, 2005 at an awards ceremony held at the
Moscone Center in San Francisco.
The Reader Trust Award is comprised of 17 security-focused product
categories, and winners were selected based on judges' deliberations, reader
votes and vote validation exercises from the United States, UK/Europe and Asia
Pacific editions of SC Magazine. McAfee Active Virus Defense, which offers
multi-layered protection against today's constantly evolving security threats,
was awarded the "Best Anti Virus Solution" based on its ability to offer the
