ATLANTA, Feb. 24 /PRNewswire/ -- Bull Run Corporation (Nasdaq: BULL) has
appointed W. James Host and Charles L. Jarvie to its Board of Directors,
increasing the size of the Board from five to seven members. Mr. Host is
President and CEO of Host Communications, Inc. (HCI) and Universal Sports
America, Inc. (USA), wholly owned subsidiaries of Bull Run. Mr. Jarvie is
Chairman of HCI and USA. HCI and USA were acquired through a merger with Bull
Run in December 1999.

Bull Run, through HCI and USA, provides specialized marketing and
management services to corporate clients focusing primarily on sports-related
affinity groups. HCI and USA also provide professional marketing and other
management services to the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA),
collegiate and high school athletic institutions, and other groups and
associations through the sale of "official corporate sponsorship" rights,
print and broadcast advertising, and production of electronic and print media
through broadcasting, printing, Internet and publishing divisions. Through
USA's Streetball Partners division, Bull Run provides sports marketing and
event management services to national and international corporate sponsors and
grassroots sports participants through events such as the "Hoop-it-Up" 3-on-3
basketball tournaments. USA sold its investment in broadcast.com, inc. in
January 1999.
Bull Run currently has an 11.4% equity investment in Total Sports, Inc., a
sports content Internet company; a 29% equity investment (fully-diluted) in
iHigh.com, Inc., a recently formed company developing an Internet network of
websites devoted to high school sports and activities; a 13.2 % equity
investment (representing a 26.2% voting interest) in Gray Communications
Systems, Inc., owner and operator of 13 television stations and four daily
newspapers; and a 10.4% equity investment in Rawlings Sporting Goods Company,
Inc., a leading supplier of team sports equipment in North America. In
addition to HCI and USA, Datasouth Computer Corporation, a manufacturer of
computer printers, operates as a wholly owned subsidiary of Bull Run.
