PostX Leads Fight Against Online Identity Theft

Leader in the Secure Content Delivery Space Becomes Founding Member Of
Coalition Formed by Information Technology Association of America (ITAA)

CUPERTINO, Calif., Feb. 24 /PRNewswire/ -- PostX, the leader in trusted
electronic delivery of information vital to business and customer
relationships, today announced that it has become a founding member of a new
coalition being formed by the Information Technology Association of America
(ITAA) to fight online identity theft. The coalition is made up of a group of
leading financial services, information technology, and electronic commerce
companies, including Amazon.com. Business Software Alliance, eBay, McAfee
Security, Microsoft, RSA Security Inc., TechNet, VeriSign, Visa U.S.A.,
WholeSecurity Inc. and Zone Labs, all coming together for the common cause of
putting an end to online attacks, including spoofing, phishing and spam.
"Online identity theft is a serious problem, which needs to be addressed
quickly and efficiently," Thampy Thomas, CEO, PostX said. "Every time a
company's brand is attacked, or a customer's information is stolen, it shakes
consumer confidence, which has serious ramifications on the future of
e-business."

PostX is dedicated to address the following four areas:

-- Consumer protection: expansion of educational campaigns regarding
       online identity theft
-- Prevention and coping: promotion of technology and self-help options
-- Dissemination of information: continuous flow of non-personal
information to keep consumers up to speed on the latest types of
       identity theft
-- Government involvement: work closely with the Federal Trade Commission
(FTC) to ensure cyber crimes are punished accordingly

"We are dedicated to working with leading enterprises to solve the issues
of online identity theft, and our participation with the coalition represents
our ongoing commitment," Scott Olechowski, vice president of product strategy,
PostX, said. "PostX already provides many of the large financial,
telecommunications, retail, and healthcare organizations with trusted
solutions, which gives us an insiders understanding. We are looking forward to
offering our experiences and knowledge-base to the coalition for the
development of a solution."
PostX is also spearheading the fight against the most recent spoofing and
phishing attacks by unveiling a new solution this week at the recent RSA
Conference in San Francisco.
