Headliner John Daly Brings Big Game to USA Network and Tucson Field, Four Rounds of The Chrysler Classic of Tucson on Tap as USA Network Airs Live Coverage Thursday & Friday, February 26-27 (6 PM ET/6 PM PT); Saturday & Sunday, February 28-29 (11 PM ET/11

                                                                  WEEK 7

NEW YORK, Feb. 24 /PRNewswire/ -- If golf fans are looking for the "story
of the year" in the 2004 PGA TOUR season thus far, they have to look no
further than USA Network with its four-day coverage of the Chrysler Classic of
Tucson (Thurs-Fri., 6 PM Live ET/6 PM PT; Sat.-Sun. 11 PM ET/11 PM PT) as
fan-favorite, 1991 PGA Championship, 1995 British Open and 5-time PGA TOUR
titleist John Daly travels to the Arizona desert for this week's TOUR stop.
The PGA TOUR's leading candidate for 2004 "Comeback Player of the Year,"
and some might argue "Player of the Year" so far, is burning up the fairways
in California and Arizona as he ended an 8 1/2 year winless streak with his
spectacular sudden-death victory at the Buick Invitational followed by a solid
fourth place finish at Riviera Country Club during the Nissan Open. Last week
marked Daly's second top 10 finish of the young 2004 season, something he did
not accomplish throughout his 22 starts in the 2003 season.
Veteran TOUR pro Peter Jacobsen commented on Daly's resurgence during a
recent interview on USA Network: "His talent level is probably greater than
anybody's on the PGA TOUR. And that includes players like Tiger Woods and Phil
Mickelson. I think John Daly is the most talented player I've ever played
with."
USA Network is the home of more early-round action than any other
broadcast or cable network on television. Bill Patrick hosts USA Network's
Thursday through Sunday coverage of the Chrysler Classic of Tucson. Joining
Patrick is Phil Blackmar, Jim Nelford, Jim Gallagher Jr. and Mike Hulbert at
Omni Tucson National Golf Resort and Spa.
Gordon Beck is USA Network's Senior Vice President, Production &
Sports/Executive Producer and Kevin Landy is Vice President, Sports
Programming and Senior Producer golf.

USA Network is cable television's leading provider of original series and
feature movies, sports events, off-net television shows and blockbuster
theatrical films. USA Network is available in 82% of all U.S. homes, and is
seen in 86 million U.S. homes. The USA Network Web site is located at

USA Network is a program service of Universal Television Networks, part of
the Universal Television Group (http://www.universalstudios.com), a division of
