Burger King Corporation Appoints John W. Chidsey as Chief Financial and Administrative Officer

    MIAMI, Feb. 25 /PRNewswire/ -- Burger King Corporation today announced the
appointment of John W. Chidsey as Chief Financial and Administrative Officer,
reporting directly to Brad Blum, Chief Executive Officer. He will also serve
as a key member of the Executive Leadership Team.

    Chidsey will be responsible for finance, corporate strategic planning,
oversight of the annual budget, the information technology function, risk
management, corporate procurement as well as the Franchise Financial
Restructuring Program (FFRP).
    Prior to his appointment at Burger King Corporation, Chidsey served as
Chairman and Chief Executive Officer for two corporate divisions at Cendant
(NYSE: CD). While at Cendant, Chidsey led the Vehicle Service Division, a
$4.2 billion division, which includes Avis Rent A Car and Budget Rent A Car
Systems. Chidsey also led the Financial Services Division, a $1.4 billion
division that includes Jackson Hewitt.
    Previously, Chidsey was the Chief Financial Officer of Pepsi-Cola Eastern
Europe and the Chief Financial Officer of PepsiCo World Trading Co., Inc.
    Mr. Chidsey holds an M.B.A. in Finance and Accounting and a Juris
Doctorate from Emory Business School, Atlanta, GA. He is a certified public
accountant and a member of the Georgia Bar Association.
