WHO: Texas Instruments, the driving technology company behind a host

WHAT: TI will display some of the latest IEEE 1394 (FireWire)
standard-compliant consumer electronics, such as A/V receivers,
DVD-players with Super Audio CD (SACD) and DVD-audio, digital

peripherals and home networking hubs.
Attendees will see how these products with FireWire solutions
from TI offer consumers a quick way to transfer large amounts
of data between components and create robust, high-speed
connections between devices throughout the home and home
office.
FireWire is a multimedia network standard for connecting
consumer electronics, computers and peripherals. FireWire is
easy to use, is very high performance and can simultaneously
carry multiple channels of audio, video, control and data up to
100 meters over a single cable.
