welcomed over 900 biotechnology and pharmaceutical job seekers to the
Genetown Career Fair in Cambridge, Massachusetts on February 19, 2008.
Thirty-six bioscience companies exhibited at the event and all
representatives were thoroughly impressed with the quality as well as the
quantity of the candidates. "The Genetown Career Fair was simply fantastic.
The caliber of candidates, the caliber of the companies and certainly the
sheer volume of people in attendance was very impressive. Honestly, it was
the best career fair I've been to in a long time," said Alysson Nolan,

event.

The event was marketed and promoted specifically to life science
professionals only. For candidates to gain admittance to the event, they
had to possess a four year degree in a relevant discipline, and have worked
at least two years in a bioscience-related field or industry. As with every
Career Fair, BioSpace pre-screened all candidates, and ended up turning
away 8% of registered bioscience professionals based on qualification
standards.
Additionally, all exhibiting companies have access to a private,
searchable BioSpace Resume Database containing the resumes of all
