MAUMEE, Ohio, Feb. 28 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- The Andersons, Inc.
(Nasdaq: ANDE) today announced that it has committed $30,000 to relief
agencies providing aid to the victims of the December tsunami in South Asia.
The American Red Cross International Response Fund will receive $15,000;
Catholic Relief Services, and United Methodist Committee on Relief (UMCOR)
will receive $7,500 each. The company based its selection of these agencies
on recommendations made by its employees.
