Cephalon Founder and CEO Frank Baldino, Jr., to Address Chamber; Chester
County Business and Civic Leaders Recognized

of Commerce announced today that Frank Baldino, Jr. Ph.D., Chairman and CEO
of Cephalon, Inc., will kick off its annual Profile Awards Dinner as
"reception speaker." The annual event celebrates business in the Great
Valley Region and this year will recognize Cephalon, which is celebrating
the 20th anniversary of its founding in Great Valley.
The Chamber's annual reception, dinner and awards honor area business
professionals and companies for their performance and outstanding
contributions to the community - in the Great Valley Region, nationally and

The 2007 award categories are Businessman and Businesswoman of the

Michael Chain, Sr., General Manager and Partner of The Desmond Hotel
and Conference Center in Malvern will be recognized by the Chamber as
Businessman of the Year. The Businesswoman of the Year Award will go to
Nancy Corson, President of the Chester County Division of National Penn
Bank. Key components of both of these awards are superior company growth
and community involvement in Chester County.
Northlight Advertising of Exton, will receive the Small Business of the
Year Award. This award is given to a company that is comprised of 75
employees or less and demonstrates dynamic growth and community service.
Non-Profit Business of the Year is Chester County SPCA. This award is
presented to a non-profit organization that works directly with the Great
Valley and surrounding communities through programs, information resources,
employment or other partnerships.
