SAN FRANCISCO, Feb. 28 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- The Board of Directors
of Pacific Gas and Electric Company has approved the election of Randal S.
Livingston, vice president, power generation and Bradley E. Whitcomb, vice
president, products and services. The appointments are effective March 1,
2007.

Randy's extensive PG&E generation experience and Brad's fresh marketing
perspective," said Tom King, chief executive officer of Pacific Gas and

Livingston is currently senior director, power generation, overseeing
PG&E's hydroelectric and fossil-fuel operations. In his new role,
Livingston will be responsible for overseeing the operation and maintenance
of all fossil-fuel and hydroelectric generation, in addition to
construction of new generating stations. He will report to Jack S. Keenan,
senior vice president and chief nuclear officer for Pacific Gas and
Electric Company.
Whitcomb is currently chief of staff to Bill Morrow, president and
chief operating officer of Pacific Gas and Electric Company. In his new
role, Whitcomb will have primary responsibility for developing and managing
market segment-specific products and services -- including energy
efficiency, demand response and solar. He will report to Helen A. Burt,
senior vice president and chief customer officer for Pacific Gas and
Electric Company.
