(Nasdaq: AEOS) today announced total sales for the four fiscal weeks ended
February 26, 2000 increased 28.6% to $46.4 million from $36.1 million for the
four week period ended February 27, 1999. Comparable sales for the 2000
period were up 8.8% compared to the corresponding four week period last year.
American Eagle Outfitters, Inc. is a specialty retailer of all-American,
casual apparel, accessories, and footwear for men and women between the ages
