CHICAGO, March 1 /PRNewswire/ -- Borg-Warner Security Corporation

announced that John A. Edwardson has been appointed president and chief
executive officer and will be elected to the board of directors at the
company's April board meeting. Mr. Edwardson formerly served as president and
chief operating officer of United Airlines and UAL Corporation. Prior to
joining UAL, Mr. Edwardson served as executive vice president and chief
financial officer of Ameritech Corp. J. Joe Adorjan will remain chairman of
the board of directors and of its executive committee through a transition
period.
