CONMED Corporation Sets Annual Meeting Date
 
    UTICA, N.Y., March 1 /PRNewswire/ -- CONMED Corporation (Nasdaq: CNMD)
announced today that its Annual Meeting of Shareholders will be held at the
Company's Corporate Offices, 525 French Road, Utica, NY  13502 on Tuesday,
May 14, 2002 at 3:30 P.M. (New York Time).  Shareholders of record at the
close of business on March 29, 2002 shall be entitled to vote at the 2002
Annual Meeting.
