BOULDER, Colo., March 1 /PRNewswire/ -- Siemens Power Generation (PG)
and Zolo Technologies Inc., have signed a business agreement to introduce
advanced combustion optimization solutions in coal-fired power plants. The
solutions will reduce harmful emissions -- including greenhouse gases --
and will increase the efficiency of the generation process.

Siemens optimization technology allow the Zolo/Siemens team to offer unique
solutions to address common coal-fired operational faults. Furthermore,
these solutions will enable efficiency increases and emissions reductions,"

    The common solution consists of a ZoloBOSS sensor system combined with
Siemens SPPA-P3000 process optimization modules. It will be compatible both
with Siemens control systems and with control systems supplied by other
vendors.
