Students From Around the Globe Compete Online as They Strive to Answer More
Than 10 Million Math Questions Correctly
DALLAS, March 1 /PRNewswire/ -- Voyager Expanded Learning(R) and 3P
Learning announced today that they will host a celebration of numbers, with
support from Microsoft Corporation, to recognize World Math Day on March
14, 2007. Children of all ages and ability levels from around the globe
will unite in their quest to set a world record in answering math questions
correctly on Voyager's VmathLive(TM) website (http://www.vmathlive.com) and 3P
Learning's Live Mathletics(R) Game Engine (http://www.mathletics.com.au and
http://www.mathletics.co.uk).
The event will begin on March 14 west of the International Dateline and
continues through to the last minute of March 14 east of the International
Dateline. Students will take part in real-time battles of speed and skill
and may participate either at home or at school.
More than 65 countries are currently registered for the competition and
include Albania, Angola, Australia, Austria, Bahrain, Bangladesh, Brazil,
Cote d'Ivoire, Canada, Canary Islands, China, Colombia , Costa Rica,
Cyprus, Ecuador, El Salvador, Eritrea, Ethiopia, Gambia, Ghana, Guatemala,
Honduras, Hong Kong, Hungary, India, Indonesia, Italy, Japan, Jordan,
Kenya, Kuwait, Lebanon, Libya, Luxembourg, Mexico, Morocco, Nepal,
Netherlands, New Zealand, Oman, Pakistan, Philippines, Portugal, Puerto
Rico, Qatar, Republic of Korea, Romania, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, Slovakia,
South Africa, Spain, Sri Lanka, Sudan, Sweden, Switzerland, Taiwan,

United States, and Zimbabwe.
