Global Industries to Present at Raymond James 27th Annual Institutional Investors Conference

(Nasdaq: GLBL) announced today that it will participate in the Raymond James &
Associates 27th Annual Institutional Investors Conference March 5-8, 2006.
The Conference is being held at the Hyatt Regency Grand Cypress in Orlando,
Florida.  William J. Dore, Chairman of the Board and Chief Executive Officer,
will make a presentation on Monday, March 6, 2006 at 8:40 a.m. CST.  The slide
presentation will be posted on the Company's website following the event.
