Peritus to Provide Software Maintenance Services to Bull HN
BILLERICA, Mass., March 3 /PRNewswire/ -- Peritus Software Services, Inc.
(OTC Bulletin Board: PTUS) a quality provider of solutions for software
maintenance, and Bull, an international I. T. group, today announced a
contract extension under which Peritus will provide Software Asset
Maintenance(SM) (SAM) services to Bull's GCOS6 small system customers
worldwide. The up to seven year contract extension means that Peritus will
provide SAMSP services for the Bull worldwide client base beginning in the
year 2000 through 2006. This contract covers the maintenance of all of Bull's
minicomputer software for the GCOS6 product line, including the HVX (GCOS6-to-
UNIX) migration product.
This new contract is an extension of the original five year contract of
September 1994, which ends on December 31, 1999. The first four years of this
extension have a total value of $5.5 million, with the last three years to be
negotiated.
