ETEX Launches New Products

CAMBRIDGE, Mass., March 3 /PRNewswire/ -- ETEX Corporation, an advanced
biomaterials company, announced today the launch of Beta-bsm(TM) Injectable
Paste and Gamma-bsm(TM) Moldable Putty, bone substitute materials based on
ETEX's proprietary nanocrystalline calcium phosphate technology.

Beta-bsm(TM) and Gamma-bsm(TM) are extensions to ETEX's unique line of
bone substitute material products. Following the legacy established by
ETEX's first commercialized product, Alpha-bsm(R), all three products are
synthetic, bioresorbable calcium phosphate bone substitutes that mimic the
nanocrystalline structure of the mineral component of human bone.

In ETEX's continuing commitment to build on its technology platform,
Beta- bsm(TM) and Gamma-bsm(TM) offer the market enhanced performance with
faster setting times, higher compressive strength, and improved
cohesiveness complimented by user friendly mixing systems. Offered in an
injectable paste or moldable putty format, Beta-bsm(TM) and Gamma-bsm(TM)
provide the surgeon the flexibility to adapt to specific patient needs.

Brian Ennis, CEO of ETEX Corporation, states "New products are the
lifeblood of every company. ETEX is excited to offer an expanding product
portfolio based on our core nanocrystalline technology. We are committed to
building upon the foundation of clinical efficacy established with Alpha-
bsm(R) by offering products specifically designed for optimal performance
and patient outcomes."
