CHICAGO, March 6, 2007 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- CIGNA HealthCare of
Illinois and Adventist Midwest Health (AMH) announced today they have
reached a new multi-year agreement to offer health care services to all
CIGNA HealthCare members at the four Chicago-based AMH hospitals as well as
the AMH Chippewa Valley Hospital in Durand, Wis. In addition, a similar
agreement was made with Adventist Health Network, AMH's affiliated
physician group which has 567 physicians, and Hinsdale Surgical Center, its
affiliated ambulatory surgery center.
The four Chicago-based hospitals include Adventist Hinsdale Hospital,
Adventist La Grange Memorial Hospital, Adventist GlenOaks Hospital and
Adventist Bolingbrook Hospital, the first new hospital in Illinois in 25
years, which is scheduled to open later this year. The new agreement
enables the more than 500,000 CIGNA HealthCare members in Illinois and
Wisconsin to gain access to these providers.

The agreement applies to members and their covered dependents enrolled
in all of CIGNA HealthCare products, including its Choice Fund
consumer-directed plan design.
