CSG Completes Management Transition; Appoints Ed Nafus CEO & President Effective April 1, 2005

                Hansen remains Chairman through June 30, 2005

    ENGLEWOOD, Colo., March 7 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- CSG Systems
International, Inc., (Nasdaq: CSGS) announced today that Ed Nafus, the current
president of CSG's Broadband Services Division, will become chief executive
officer and president of the company effective April 1, 2005.  In addition,
Nafus has been named to the board of directors effective immediately.  Neal
Hansen will continue in his role as chairman of the board through June 30,
2005, and remain on the board through his term, which ends in 2006.

president of the Global Software Services Division, effective immediately.
Bonde is a 30-year veteran of the telecom and information services industries,
with deep global experience in sales, marketing and operations.
    Nafus joined CSG in 1998 as Executive Vice President.  Prior to that, he
held numerous management positions with First Data Corporation, including
Executive Vice President of First Data Corporation, President of First Data
International and Executive Vice President of First Data Resources.  In
addition, Nafus held various sales, training and management positions with
Xerox Corporation.  He was a pilot and division officer in the United States
Navy.
